THAILAND 2007 | hONEy mOON in Phuket
26 April 2007 (Day 1)
For honeymoon, to make travel more easier, i booked hotels and return transfer on-line. We will be staying at Peach Hills Hotel (Kata Beach)for 3 nights at a rate of 1,833 Baht per night and the air-port transfer from Airport to Hotel is 750 Baht per car (60 km).
Departed to Phuket at 3.30pm (delayed by 15 mins). The scary and funny thing was the flight turned back to LCCT after half an hour journey. They said they miss a passenger ’s luggage but i think that was just an excuse. Take off again after another half an hour…that's mean they took our special honeymoon time almost 2 hours. arrived at about 6.30 pm (malaysia time) or 5.30pm (Thai time). Then, by chartered car, took another 45 mins to the hotel (Peach Hill Hotel) and it was dark already. So tired and nothing we can do so we just ate instant noodles and 3-in-1 coffee. Ok that’s it, the end of our first day journey
27 April 2007 (Day 2)
Started our 2nd day in Phuket with a half-day complimentary trip from the agents. The driver took us to some famous viewpoints, Chalong Temple and Jewelry factory. It’s worth-it because it’s free..haha. After the so called typical tourist tour, we rent a motorbike for half a day (cost 200 baht), and went to Karon beach, Kata Noi Beach and Kata Beach. Booked tour for tonight and tomorrow and went back to hotel.
at Kata beach

at Kuta street
At night, went to ….(can’t remember the place) watched Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing) priced 900 Baht/person (including transport). It was my first real fighter show. Good experience but really my cup of tea. But i think men will enjoyed it.
28 April 2007 (Day 3)
Today’s activity is Island Hoping (including snorkeling and buffet lunch). This tour priced 1250 Baht/ person (discounted price for neighbor country, because the actual price was over 2000 baht). At 8.30am they took us from hotel to the Jetty by van. Rent mask and fin for 100 Baht/set.
at maya bay
We were taken to an island (forget the name) to have our buffet lunch. we were really hungry due to very limited Muslim restaurant around Kata town and thank God they served halal buffet. Eat like a monkey!!!!
At about 1.30 pm, continued the trip to one beautiful island (the last destination), arrived there 45 mins later. Swimming and sunbathing (eventho' our skin already tan). Spent about an hour there and later return back to the mainland. Arrived at the hotel at 5.15 pm, swimming at hotel's swim pool.
At night at 8.00 pm, walk to Kata Town and had dinner at the same place where we had lunch yesterday (since there’s no other choice for us). For the last night in Phuket, we decided to spend more on dinner which cost us 700 baht.
Later, went to the same travel agency and booked a tour for tomorrow.
29 April 2007 (Day 4)
Today’s activity is elephant ride. The cost is 800 baht per person for 1 hour ride and half an hour baby elephant’s show inclusive transportation. The place’s called ‘Amazing Bukit Safari’ and located about half an hour from our hotel. The ride was great, new experience, but sometimes a bit worried. But overall, the ride was actually safe. The elephant is well trained. Return back to the hotel and swim for 30 mins. Check-out late at 1.10 pm and the driver pick-up us 20 mins later. Arrived at the airport at 2.30 pm, check-in and flew back to KL.
