PAHANG, MALAYSIA | Finding Nemo @ Tioman Island aka DIVING

HI ALL..lama tak tulis blog ni, rasanya more than a week. Nak tau saya pergi mana? I went to Tioman Island last thursday night by bus (next time go there self-drive much2 easier). Nak cerita banyak malas lor, as usual cerita ala2 itinerary and a lotsa pix. I planned to drive but last minute decided to go there by bus. Nyesal tak sudah because i found out (after purchased tix), ferry tix booking tak boleh tukar and sudah fixed jam 2.30pm. Kalau nak pergi Tioman Island over the weekend please booking tix ferry tu in advanced sebab tix sold mcm pisang panas. The price is RM35/way.

Day 1: 25th June

11 p.m, bus to Mersing from Puduraya (by Tranasional bus cost RM30/person)

Day 2: 26th June

4.30 a.m: Arrived at Mersing Bus Station, walk to Mersing Jetty, located 1 km from Bus Station (nasib baik pagi sejuk, ok la jalan).
5-7am: Slept at Mersing Jetty, atas waiting seat.
7-9am: Breakfast (amik masa makan dgn secara slow yang boleh)
9-11am: Lepak2 kat Mersing Jetty and area sekeliling sambil mengambil gambar

11-11.30am: Take a bath at public toilet nearby (surprisingly the toilet and bathroom is very clean)
11.30-12.30pm: Lunch
12.30-2.00pm: Sleep again at Mersing Jetty

3.00pm: Queue for Ferry and half and hour later the ferry finally take off
5.00pm: Arrived at Tekek Jetty


at Tekek, Van from Babura Seaview pick up us. For 1st and 2nd night kitaorg will be staying at Swiss Cottage Chalet (just beside Babura Seaview). The Seaview Chalet (RM120/night) sangat2 best, romantic and classic. Ni ada a few gambar2 Chalet with plus size model..hehehe..

Sisa2 baki untuk hari ni, we spend mostly dlm chalet tido kepenatan (penat menunggu ferry) and ZZZzzzzzzzzz, bangun makan jap, pastu sambung tido balik

Day 3: 27th June

8 a.m, free breakfast at d cafe..ala breakfast bodoh jek, orange juice, 2 slice bread, scramble egg, butter&jam and tea..muka kitaorg bangun tido plus d cat


this morning kitaorg akan buat shore dive dulu with kak lily and her hubby. Abect (d bodilicious mr. instructor) akan refresh balik teknik2 yang kitaorg dah belajar kat Pusat Akuatik Shah Alam. Saya xde underwater casing, so gambar2 semua either from atas boat and di atas darat..berikut ialah aksi2 kitaorg sebelum nyelam

and after that, sempat pi swim depan chalet..alangkah best if this chalet belong to us


Others divers in our group arrived at noon and

2.36 p.m: My first ever boat dive. Aku Teruja!!! no words can describe apa yg saya rasa..

after about 25 mins , kitaorg sampai at 1st location, muka cuak ni masa nak kena terjun at 3.08pm

lepas rehat buat 2nd dive here and at 6.00 pm, went back to d dive centre, Babura. Tak puas la nyelam hari ni..

Day 4: 28th June

Back to Dive centre at noon around 1pm
jalan2 cari makan sampai ke Pekan Tekek..amik gambar ala2 Terusan ni lagi


lepas makan, balik Babura ..tonite, we will be staying at Long House, Babura..cheaper, got a/c but no view..semata2 bilik semata2


At night, lepas bangun tidur, kitaorg makan kat Warung Shahirah. Makanan2 kat sini sangat best and murah sangat. Borak2 ngan d chef, dia ckp dia letak harga murah sbb dia jenis suka bagi org makan tanpa memikirkan kos (katanya). Total kos cuma RM16/person only.


Last Day: 29th June

Rent a bike (RM5/hour) for 2 hours and cycling to Taman Laut (Marine Park). Free snorkeling here. if you don't have equipment for snorkeling, then you can rent here.

lepas snorkeling, singgah Pekan Tekek, bought take a way lunch (nasi bungkus) and makan at Babura Restaurant. Drink a coke..arrrghhhh..nyaman


Check-out at 2 pm..lepak2 kat pantai and jetty transfer by Babura van. As usual, ferry kat sini tak punctual and kitaorg dpt tahu that our ferry yang suppose pukul 4.30pm akan sampai lambat at 6pm..and terpaksa la tunggu lagi

selepas naik ferry around 6pm, tiada lagi gambar2 di ambil kerana on that night laut sangat bergelora and almost all passenger muntah termasuk la aku..a few times jugak aku muntah. Edan pun muntah jugak tapi dia sempat muntah kat luar time ferry tgh stop. Ferry stop tengah laut, 100 meters from Mersing Jetty sebab stuck air surut. Kitaorg semua terpaksa di pindahkan ke small boat that night. Dah macam pelarian la kan...nasib baik la ada that small boat, if not nak tunggu air pasang, alamatnya terlepas bas la kitaorg ni

10.00pm: Bus to KL
3.45am: Arrived at Puduraya and by taxi to Desa Pandan, arrived 15 mins later (cost RM20)
