The next backpacking trip - The Pie Chart & The plan

Finally the final estimation budget for my next trip (after South Korea in September). Total cost is RM8,900 per person. Total countries to be covered is the lucky EIGHT (France, Monaco, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands and UK) and cities is sweet SEVENTEEN (Paris, Nice, Monte Carlo, Marseilles, Marrakesh, Madrid, Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Rome, Basel, Geneva, Bern, Zurich, Amsterdam and London). Below is the steps of the upcoming backpacking trip in November 2013.

  1. 1st online purchase (4th July) - Return flight from Kuala Lumpur to Paris by Saudi Airlines at only MYR2,000
  2. Make an online hotel/hostel reservation via booking.com (free cancellation and booking fee) and hostelworld (10% booking fee)
  3. 2nd online purchase (25th August) - 1-way Air France from Paris to Nice, Pay full car rental at Nice airport to get the discounted price via Ryanair.com, 1-way Ryanair from Marseille MP2 to Marrakesh, 1-way Ryanair from Marrakesh to Madrid T1 and Pay full car rental at Madrid airport.
  4. 3rd online purchase (25th September) - 1-way Ryanair from Seville to Rome (Ciampino), 1-way Easyjet from FCO Rome Fiumicino to BSL Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Pay full car rental at Basel airport, 1-way Easyjet from Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg to AMS Amsterdam
  5. 4th online purchase (25th October) - 1-way Easyjet from AMS Amsterdam to London-Stansted, Overnight bus from LONDON (Victoria Coach Station)  to Paris (Gallieni)
  6. Change to MYR to Euro/GBP and ready to fly....

EUROTRIP 2013 | Independent travel to some cities in Europe plus Morocco in 19 days

Date: 7 - 25 November 2012 Coverage: Paris-Marrakesh-Seville-Cordoba-Granada-Malaga-Geneva-Interlaken-Basel-Amsterdam-Istanbul-Rome This gonna be the longest post ever and I would probably finished it next year..:) my initial plan is to travel in October but we postponed it just because of Saudi Airlines promotion in November.
